Breast Reduction Techniques
Technique that reduces the size of overlarge busts. To create the desired size, the excess skin and fat is trimmed away, and the dimensions of the bust are reduced. Please tell us all your expectations regarding the procedure in counseling. Overly large busts also have an influence on life expectancy and a heightened chance of sagging. This breast-reduction technique can also be combined with techniques that correct a sagging bust and lift nipples.

Period of swelling following surgery | ~1 week |
Recovery period | 1-2 weeks |
Hospital visits following surgery | Re-examination necessary 4 days, 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after surgery |

【The round method】
Procedure conducted to correct slight drooping. The skin around the areola is ablated in a torus shape, and the skin is sutured together like a pursestring to correct drooping.

1: Markings are made to delineate the area of incision
2: The epithelium and excess fat are ablated along the markings
3: The mammary tissue and fat are gathered and moved upward, while the outer circumference of the incision is stitched with a pursestring suture
4: Using the pursestring suture, the outer epithelium is drawn closer to the areola area
5: The areola area is once again sutured; finish. Scarring is hidden by the areola and is barely noticeable
【The vertical method】
Procedure conducted to correct moderate sagging. Incisions are made in the inframammary region as well as the areola area, and fat is removed.

1: Markings are made delineating the area of incision from the areola area to the inframammary region
2: Breast is drawn up to form the ideal body lines
3: Skin is ablated along the incision lines
4: Excess fat and mammary glands in the inframammary region are ablated together. Amount ablated is determined by the degree of sagging
5: Fat layers on both sides are sutured
6: Skin is sutured; finish. Scarring is restricted to the areola area and a longitudinal scar.
【The upside-down T method】
Procedure conducted to correct heavy sagging. Skin is incised in an anchor shape from the areola area to the inframammary region, and the bust is sculpted. After suturing, a scar shaped like an upside-down T can form, hence the name of the procedure. Is certain to lift the bust, but scars are large, so we currently do not perform this procedure frequently.

Breast-Lift Techniques
Procedure that corrects breasts that have sagged due to the effects of aging, producing a pert, firm bust. The procedure ablates excess skin, lifts the breasts, and leaves the nipples pert, so there is no need for concern about loss of breast size. Implants can also be used in minor cases. Discuss which designs and procedures you would like to use in counseling sessions.

Sculpting of inverted nipples
Procedure that corrects inverted nipples—when the nipple has turned inwards into the breast. The cause of inverted nipples is a congenital defect of the lactiferous ducts. Through this procedure, we lengthen the lactiferous ducts, returning the nipple to normal. To prevent a relapse, we perform a simple stabilizing fix one week after surgery. Rest assured that we are careful in the procedure not to damage breastfeeding functions.

Hospital visits following surgery | Removal of sutures 1 week after, and re-examination 1 month after surgery |

Inverted nipple sculpting - Treatment details
The procedure is performed to preserve the lactiferous ducts so that no dysfunction in regards to future breastfeeding will occur.
We perform the procedure known as the Teimourian method. First, we use a piece of thread to expose the collapsed nipple. Afterward, we thinly incise the nipple at its base, forming leaf-shaped flaps of skin. We then suture them to the incision point on the other side so that they crosses over beneath the skin. During the procedure, a thread is used to stabilize the nipple and prevent relapse. The incision scar is slight and, since it is hidden in the skin of the areola, barely noticeable.

Areola Reduction Techniques
Procedure to improve enlarged areolae that occur congenitally or with childbirth or growth of bust size or childbirth. There are two methods of treatment: one that tightens the skin after the areola area is incised, stabilizing the areola, or one that ablates the skin of both the areola area and the breast at once. After determining the current condition of the breast, the optimum method of treatment will be selected. Scarring is inconspicuous in both methods, as the border of the areola is incised.
Duration of Surgery | 30-60 minutes |

Recovery period | ~1 week |
Hospital visits following surgery | Removal of sutures 1 week after, and re-examination 1 month after surgery |

Areola reduction techniques - Surgery details
Scarring with this procedure is barely noticeable, and areola reduction is achieved through an incision at the base of the nipple. In this method, the skin at the base of the nipple is incised along the nipple, and the areola is further ablated in the shape of a torus to produce the desired size. Afterward, the ablated skin is sutured together like a pursestring toward the base of the nipple, and the treatment is finished. Scarring is inconspicuous due to the sutures being in the hard-to-see base of the nipple and due to the stitches being tied subcutaneously.

Nipple Reduction Techniques
The nipple reduction procedure reduces nipples that are larger than usual or have been enlarged due to breastfeeding. The size and length are balanced with the size of the bust, and the ideal nipple is sculpted. Rest assured that the procedure does not interfere with sensation or breastfeeding functions.

【Adjusting thickness】
Adjusts thickness by ablating portions of the nipple opposite each other in a wedge shape and suturing them back together. If a smaller size is desired, the angle of the ablation is widened, to a maximum of 120°.

1: Two wedge shapes diagonal to each other are ablated on the nipple. Caution is taken so as not to injure the lactiferous ducts
2: The skin on either side of each ablated wedge is sutured together
3: Sutures are performed; finish.
【Adjusting length】
Length is adjusted through ablating the epithelium at the base of the nipple, suturing the unablated nipple and the skin of the nipple together, and concealing the ablated portion within the breast.

1: The skin of the nipple is ablated from the base of the nipple to match the desired height
2: The tip of the nipple and the base of the nipple are bound together with thread and sutured so that location where the skin has been ablated is concealed within the breast
3: Suturing; finish. Normal height is 5 to 10 mm.
